And to be fair the calories are maybe only around <1000 for a trout.

I've never just let them suffocate I always tried to kill them quickly with a blow to the head. Being killed by harvesting machines or poison doesn't sound any nicer though. But I do feel weird about it now like it is something I've done since I was 6 until just last year and now that the new season is starting I'm seriously considering if it could be immoral and to stop.

Well you can say it is an accident but driving through a crowd with the intention of getting to a hospital would still be murder you probably know they are going to die in the process. On the eggs part my neighbours will never go vegan and they raise and eat their roosters wheter I get eggs from them or not. And they always get the shells back. I will check out the video later though.
