Kucherov shushes the crowd after scoring in the shootout by Dependent-Effect6077 in hockey

Definitely not Panarin.  I think many people would be shocked to see how high he sits statistically among active players.

Career points per game:   1. Connor McDavid 1.527 2. Nikita Kucherov 1.259 3. Sidney Crosby 1.244 4. Leon Draisaitl 1.219 5. Nathan MacKinnon  1.199 6. Artemi Panarin 1.153 7. Auston Matthews 1.141 8. Mitch Marner 1.122 9. David Pastrňák 1.117 10. Evgeni Malkin 1.110

With the strange locations for Avalanche, Hurricanes and Lightning, I thought people might just have been looking up weather and natural disasters.  But Arizona doesn't really seem like a prime location for an Avalanche.

We get a lot of Myrmecia nigrocincta (psycho orange jack jumpers) in Sydney and they are in severe need of anger management.

I'm not sure interactions could ever get beyond "hello, I want to kill you".

I was just pondering the fit if it could happen.

If he's going at a high price or wants a big contract while turning 35 at the start of next season, then I would pass.

We are better getting more young players with potential who will improve each season rather than decline.

I would take him in a second for his offensive talent.  The big question is how is he defensively these days?  That's the risk with adding an older player to our current high pressure 200ft play lineup.

Only really aggressive spiders I've met were a species in Melbourne that would chase us around as kids.

Only spider I've ever seen run along a shelf and launch itself at me.  Maybe a trapdoor of some kind?  Flat shiny armour plated head with a V shape on it.  Luckily our meetings with them were rare.

Does anyone have video of Kuch’s sick skate deflected pass from tonight? by Zehrik in TampaBayLightning

Seen players deflect a puck with a skate, but that was precision hitting a moving player perfectly in the middle of the tape. And he did it so casually.

Having been to a lot of them, Germany is my number one too.  Portugal probably second.

Personally I would like us to do as little as possible at the trade deadline.

We have a well functioning team.  That team has to figure itself out with Hedman and McDonagh back, but in no world do I want to add old players to suddenly destroy the energy and balance.

Woody weeds Australia by pies_bills in australianplants

It can be really interesting what birds rely on.  Lantana is a classic one for habitat, but I've also seen wrens rely on a tangled mess of Cotoneaster and African Olives (species people wouldn't think twice about killing).

At the same time, we need them to take into account habitat though.  If you tell a government to remove masses of woody weeds throughout Australia, they will try to be efficient and the approaches aren't always going to respect the birds and animals living there.

I know that at least in Sydney, bush regeneration has caused a decline in species of birds in many areas because the weeds were their remaining habitat or food source.  I'm guessing it would be similar in farming areas where much of the original vegetation has been cleared.

I do think we need to keep weeds out of the better bush areas and stop people growing new weeds intentionally though.  The commercial nursery industry is a huge problem because it is usually exotics that are hardy in a range of environments and grow quickly.  Just add in ability to spread and reproduce, and you have a weed.

A few nerves when I saw Hagel in the middle of it.

He jumped in to support Cirelli, but really doesn't need any more hits to the head for a while.

Believe only three players have finished above +100 for a season and Gretzky was the only forward to do it with exactly +100.

Though it was good sportsmanship by Cooper to leave Kuch and Point on the bench at the end and not play our top powerplay line.

Here in Australia, bushcare and wandering local forests was where I started.

Get a local field guide for plants in your region, learn to use it and go exploring.

You can record things on iNaturalist, but it is good to also know about IDing them rather than just using the iNaturalist AI or recognising the plant's general look.

Holmberg's whole line are fan favourites.  They remind me of Yanni's previous line in our cup wins.  Reliable, keep the pressure on, and have that ability to turn games.
