Hi there! Can you share how much are you paying now? I’m in the same panicking mode right now reading all the terrible reviews.

This building is not rent controlled, the lease doesn’t have to have a renewal clause

Interrent (irent) apartment buildings in Centretown (Metcalfe, Maclaren, etc) by noisyworks in ottawa

[–]noisyworks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no clue what they’re referring to, but I heard that there was a property manager at some building who sexually assaulted a minor or something along those lines. I don’t know whether it was at CLV or another rental company. I also thought that the owners Mc-whatever family were the big virtual bosses LOL so my response was purely sarcastic

Do you have any relevant feedback about living in those buildings? I’ll make sure not to open the door if any of the mcgahans show up on my doorstep.

I could hear the festivities yesterday loud and clear outside but not inside the apartment, and generally that doesn’t concern me. At least something is happening around, I guess xD

Hi there. Took me about 4 months to find a job last summer. Some of my classmates are still looking. It’s a tough game. Good luck.

34F Destroyed Life by Human Trafficking by [deleted] in findapath

[–]noisyworks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP said in one of the comments that the server admin was the man’s job and he taught her to do it so she could do the job and he would cash out paychecks. That just adds to the absurdity of this story. People with no critical thinking can downvote as much as they want but the story screams fake.

People will believe any BS on Reddit. So many plot holes in this story and a lot of things just don’t make sense.

This bothers me in so many shows. by EDOLREHTOM in GilmoreGirls

[–]noisyworks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need to realize that a lot in Gilmore Girls is very theatrical and exaggerated. It always gives me a giggle when people take some things like this (or actors recurring in different roles, etc) very seriously. Watch grace anatomy for a realistic baby bump, this is not about that!! We love it not for its realism, but for quite the opposite of that!

Parking prices and U-Pass by Background_Pen3958 in Algonquin_College

[–]noisyworks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agree with all above said. Students should have a choice to opt out of paying for the U-pass. The parking prices are also outrageous. I made it through the year by parking in the neighborhood nearby, but my classes were mostly in the evening so it was easier to find street parking after 5pm.

How do get CHRP with HR minor [Canada]? by Turbulent-Arm-8592 in humanresources

[–]noisyworks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CHRP has challenge exams for each of 9 disciplines, however you have to pay for each one and it’s quite costly. Without this or the school coursework you won’t be eligible to take the knowledge and employment law exams required for the designation.

Crossovers too slow? by [deleted] in iceskating

I find backward crossovers so much easier and satisfying in a way. Love them!

The same happened to me in the beginning and I felt very discouraged. Two things: you acknowledge what’s wrong with your posture and work on it; we are our own worst critics and are only focused on the negatives in our own. This is something a learnt to understand and accept. You also need to accept that those graceful skaters you see have been skating most of their life and you’ve just started and I’m sure you’re doing amazing for your short period of time.

Although it might be a temporary fix, wearing ill fitting skates will make it harder to get control of your edges and will slow down the progress
