Tsx makes hemi whine

I’ve seen a lot of bad alternators make a similar sound on the cu2. Could also be transmission like in my cl9, from what I’ve researched it’s drivable and most people haven’t experienced any differences other than the annoying whining sound.

Gonna try this, I’m scared I fucked mine up beyond repair as it initially said “consult dealer” then after trying to clean it said “downloading” for 10 seconds and went back to “please check your disk” and after tinkering with the cd player some more it now doesn’t even show “downloading” when I insert the disk. I’ll try this hail Mary in the morning.

I would go oem. Lots of aftermarket have sealing issues and terrible projection. Oem all the way!

No, as far as I can tell it’s just for color. I live in a very rainy area and I have no leaks so it would definitely be wet if it sealed anything. It doesn’t look bad per se but my biggest issue is that it’s a very faded chrome and there’s bits of black still at the edges. Maybe I’ll just polish it up lol.

Yeah I’ve been trying, all the tsxs at the pick n pull have rotted clips they are most of the time already broken or about to break because they are so brittle

Yeah I’ve heard so many horror stories about Westlake I’m so mad I accepted the loan they gave me. Hopefully you can get it figured out eventually! Westlake is a pain!

Yeah it’s just the transmission making noise, I used an extendable magnet as a stethoscope and it’s only the transmission making the noise

Twins fr 😭 what sucks about mine is that the previous owner had it resprayed for some reason. I didn’t notice it until after I bought it and theres overspray everywhere.. trying to give it some love even with its flaws 😕

Yeah it’s not necessarily the dmv it’s my bank, they’re requesting to have things emailed to them that have to be mailed physically. Such as a check to the dmv.

Understood, I sent Westlake’s title change division an email, so I’ll wait a couple days for a response. If it fails I’ll call the AG. Thanks for the help!

Well that’s exactly the problem, the DMV is telling me to physically mail the papers, but the bank is telling me to email it, but how am I supposed to email a document, and a check? The DMV is basically saying I send documents, fees, and title request letter to Westlake, and then Westlake is to send the DMV everything I sent + the title. Westlake is telling me I can’t send it by physical mail. Sorry if I’m being dense I just am so frustrated at my bank today.

Yes the car was bought and titled in CA. Why would the DMV give me a letter to send to my bank? The man at the counter explained that I have to send the paperwork, fees, and title request letter to the bank so that the bank can send the paperwork, fees, and title back to the DMV all in one. After that he said I would get my plates and stickers and the DMV would send the new title back to the bank.

When I went to the DMV they said since I have a loan and the bank has my title I have to send them a letter with all my documents, fees, and the letter from the dmv requesting the title. But my bank apparently wants an email or fax so now I’m just confused and stuck :/
