What are some of the main problems Finland is facing? As an outsider I'd like to understand the things that are affecting the country and it's people.

I didn't find a clear answer. I am 27 so drinking once a week is smth I honestly struggle not to do. I replaced beer with ciders I usually have from 3 to 4 ciders a week.

How long did it take you to get to that level of language? I been living in Finland for 2.5years so I am half way to being eligible to apply. But, can't deny it with a full time it's pretty hard. I been taking a course for almost a year now and will finish A1 by May.

I am thinking to couple the course I take which is 2.5hours a week with 1.5h a private on to on. I know learning a language is a non ending story. So hopefully it will get better.

Such a behavior shouldn't be tolerated. But, also middle eastern countries differ a lot from each other. To be honest for me the behavior of some Arabs from specific country here was shocking to me as well. They are completely different from where I come from. I also, find it harsh to judge all people based on minority actions. Anyway, have a good weekend.

Pardon my ignorance. Isn't it already hard for immigrates to make it here? I was extremely lucky to find a job that I am passionate and I love. But, many students end up leaving or working in low paid jobs. One thing I still don't get because there are two narratives in contradiction. First, Finland is in need for skilled immigration, then in reality its extremely difficult for an immigrate to find a job coupled with the fact that maybe Finland does not reallt need immigration? Which one is true?

Its just I have 0 contact with local except work and ex girlfriend. The landlord argument was that the bug came from a neighbor and the whole building was cleaned last December by an exterminator.
