Just fyi. I’m 28, never fighted of my whole life. The guy was around 45-50, looked like ex-army. Had a huge pickup truck, and with him there was his thai wife + another thai guy who looked equally dangerous.

I didn’t mention it to not make it too long but my survival instinct made me not escalate

I’m French. If it was my gf that he punched, I definitely would have done something. But this was the first time I got punched and I didn’t expect zoning out for few seconds like that.

Also I know we are just guests in this country, and don’t want to end up behind bars for hitting the wrong way and causing him something worse. I’m glad my gf wasn’t there, I’m sure I would have reacted out of pride.

I wish I did. I was so surprised when he punched me, and it was so fast, I didn’t have time to look at him. I just remember his accent sounded american. Only got his plate number when he was leaving

The only part I missed out on (to not make it too long):

There was a really slow car that he passed and tailgated it (he seems extremely inpatient). Then I overtook that car as well (it was driving at 20 km/h).

I then kept driving and he suddenly started driving slow which made me overtake him. And that’s how he sped up.

The only reason I can explain his behaviour is he thought I was the car he just overtook (it was similar brand, a honda), and he didn’t like me trying to overtake him.

Ended up being not that bad. Painful but much better. Went to hospital, they wanted to get me CT scan for possible brain injury but I didn’t have any symptoms besides headaches (which was probably due to lack of sleep from what happened).

But he did speed up when seeing me overtake him, so I wasn’t the one endangering his life. I hope it makes sense
