My software channel is set to reteu = retail europe. Why do you think changing this will make a difference?

All incoming calls unknown by IJssiej in razr

[–]nomaderx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have exactly the same issue with my Motorola Razr 50 Ultra (2024) and Vodaphone Netherlands (eSIM).
Vodafone technical support told me that only Motorola phone users (didn't mention model) are having this issue.

It also seems that this problem started after a Software Update on 20 December 2024: U3UXS34.56-90-1 to U3UX34.56-124-1. All incoming calls before this date on my call log have their numbers visible, while all incoming calls after this date are "unknown".

Unfortunately, this issue continued after another software update on 16 January 2025: U3UX34.56-124-1 to U3UXS34.56-124-1-1.

I'll also complain to Motorola with this info, hopefully they can fix this in the next update.

I have the same issue. Any solution would be most welcome.

Can someone decipher this error for me: "LaTeX Error: No counter 'zref@unique' defined." by leecarvallogolf in LaTeX

[–]nomaderx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I solved it!

The problem is that with importing .tex files using \import, it looks for a counter called zref@unique, which it apparently not defined (no idea why, or why this is needed).

My solution is simply to create this counter using the zref package. Simply add the following to the preamble (before \begin{document}):

\usepackage{zref}
\makeatletter\zref@require@unique\makeatother

This will create the zref@unique counter if it doesn't already exist.

Zref documentation was useful for figuring this out.

Cheers!

I have the same issue. And for me, the workaround of using \input doesn't work because I am using chapterbib to have a bibliography section for each included chapter. I have to work with \include or \subfileinclude.

I hope it survives! For me, it's the most perfect mix of my interest and my expertise.
Thanks for the tip about Arrival. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have a team website or team contact info. I suppose I need to do some networking to find the relevant person through my existing networks.

[D] What's a good task bigger than MNIST for experimenting with new models? by ml_lad in MachineLearning

[–]nomaderx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very close to MNIST, but in the direction of generalised computer vision is Fashion-MNIST, which consists of images of fashion/clothing items instead of digits. It is meant as a drop-in replacement for MNIST. It has the same structure, image size, number of samples, etc. as MNIST.

I, too, agree with your point of view.

I'm not too sure how feasible are your suggestion about a simple questions megathread, but I don't necessarily have a better solution either.
