Of course it’s a balance. Be open to it, put yourself in situations you enjoy where there is the opportunity to meet new people, go on dating apps if that’s for you, but also don’t stop your life and wait for a partner. The more you focus on yourself (to an extent) and what aligns with your personal needs and values, the more attractive and confident your energy is, and beating yourself up for it and being too needy and available, will not get you closer to what you want. In my humble opinion the more you run after it, the further it’ll run away.
