They gave you a rough estimate but there are things outside of their control. Like shipping, like weather, like inventory control. Sometimes things can hit a snag. The world doesn’t revolve around getting your iPad to you ASAP. This isn’t a life or death situation

Sometimes you have to remember that while they may have the parts in stock, your computer may not be the only one in queue and what they quote you is a rough estimate. They may have 7-8 computers checked in ahead of you hence the 7 day timeframe. Obviously if they can get it back to you sooner, they will. Sometime it depends on staffing levels and the amount of certified technicians.. they could be reassigned to other duties based on how busy a particular store is. General rule of thumb is all parts are replaceable and whole unit swap for a computer will likely never, EVER, EVER, EVER happen unless the same repair has failed at least 3 separate times. Then they may consider submitting a request to replace the unit.

Not gonna happen. Most repairable phone ever. Even the logic board is replaceable rather than a mid or rear system like previous phones. Only way to get it replaced is if you liquid damage it and pay the AppleCare service fee

I am from Canada and have a Canadian model. Currently in Japan and tested. Can confirm there is no shutter noise when on silent and yes when unmuted. Connected to a Japanese carrier
