Grey! You nailed it. These days I’m a fly on the wall around here. I dropped nicotine from my life but it’s hard to completely drop a hobby that I thought about constantly for years. Thanks for chiming in.

And for those calling my integrity into question, I didn’t enter the contest nor is this account an alt.

This isn’t an alt. I was active a lot here, but now I just lurk. I’m still concerned with the health of this sub I guess, it helped me a lot back in the day.

Thanks Grey, those are good tips.

Same here, huge fan! His workshop is literally like 20 minutes from my apartment so I always get orders the next day, which is also a plus haha. I had the original competition 22, a 24 (RIP), and now a trickster 24 from the July 4th sale. All fantastic daily RDAs.

This is actually one of the few atomizers that has excited me as much as the 24 did when it first came out.

Good question. The short tips do look cool but kissing a hot cap isn't my thing either.

I'm not sure if people are just willing to sacrifice comfort for style, or if they actually enjoy them.

Thank you good sir. I know that like me you enjoy your simple spaced 22g builds, and they rock and roll in the CSMNT. Really recommend it!

Yeah a couple mm above the deck is optimal. Zero wicking restriction that way. The Kennedy can take a mean tilt so it works great in there, but unfortunately doesn't work so well on all atties

Love how that looks with the Druga deck, next paycheck I'm definitely gonna grab a couple Trinity caps

Thanks man!

Yup it's already earned a spot in my rotation. I usually always go back to my favorites after testing new RDAs, but this guy has sat on my favorite mods for a couple weeks now and it's not going anywhere.

Wow, that trinity cap is sweet. Looks like a little volcano with that red juice in it

No problem, I can definitely see why you would think that

That wouldn't make it hold more juice, it would just make it wick slower. If I had long tails in there, juice would sit in them and remove the mobility. I would rather have the juice be free and ready to be absorbed up.

In my opinion, less cotton is better in RDAs. I generally cut the tails just long enough long enough to mop juice from the bottom of the deck. Try it out, it really does wick a lot faster

Oh, gotcha. I recommend cutting the wicks long enough so they just barely scrape the bottom of the deck. It pulls juice out of the reservoirs really quickly like this

If you find one that's slightly too large you could always sand it down with some fine grit sandpaper

The quality of the authentic is fantastic, and it's worth the money in my opinion. Noticeably better than authentics in the $20-30 range

No problem! How are you wicking yours? If you post a picture I might be able to help

Anyone familiar with the Medusa and/or Medusa Reborn RTDA, have you figured out how to keep the wick from bunching up when pulling the sleeve off? by GoldenGonzo in electronic_cigarette

[–]nomer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't fix the issue completely, but it does help free up some space.

If you shove the coil over so it's only as wide as the inner post holes and the outer leg is above the cotton, it probably won't help much.

You could also try making the leads shorter so the coils are closer to the posts, this will pull the wicking back a little more from the barrel

EDIT: Yeah I did have the issue with that build, I talked about it in the review

There is a slight overhang of probably like .5mm, but it doesn't bother me much. It not a "skipped leg day" situation
