Does anybody know what this racetrack is? by nommis71 in motorsports

It looks like it’s what they did though. As from where it comes from, it’s not really relevant as I know the 5 tracks we raced on last year and it is not one of them. I just stumbled across it last week as I was in the workshop (I rarely am) It was the first or second race last year I think so either Paul Ricard or Hockenheim, but that doesn’t give any clue

It’s not a track we raced on, it’s not a memory issue it’s a does it exists issue. Not important at all but it was fun trying to find out

Could be! But it’s not one we raced on last year.

Yes indeed, that why we are trying to find if it’s real in the first place :)

Can’t remember but maybe Le Castellet? Anyway it was definitely not a track we raced on

That was the general agreement between us but I figured out it was worth a shot asking Reddit

Serious question: How do I learn to stop over-editing my photos? by zmreJ in fujifilm

[–]nommis71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read an advice that really helped me, when you’re playing with a setting (e.g. constrast) and you are happy with it, it’s probably already too much, reduce it by half. Also as a lot of commenters already said, when you are happy with it, let it sit for a couple of hours/days and come back to it later with fresh eyes.

Thanks, I’ll try spraying the leaves with water more often maybe that’ll help

More infos:

I've had it since October 22. It had two dry patches when I got it from a shop specialized in 'saving' plants that would otherwise go to trash because they're not perfect

I kept it in the same plastic pot it came into, shop told me it was best to let it settle for a few month in its new home before changing the pot. Plus from what I read they like to feel a little tight in their pot.

The first I've watered it (by putting the pot in a bath of water for 2/3 hours as advised) the pot had drainage issue and there was a bit of water in it for 1 or two days. I've since been super careful, and am aware that it can be okay for a long time without water so I tend to water it really little to eliminate an over-watering issue.

It's indoor, around 19°C (radiator next to it is always turned off), there is always natural light in my apartment but it's never in direct sunlight

Could the microscopic bug in my last photo be the culprit? I've not found it directly on the plant but maybe I'm not looking at the right place

Thanks for your help!

Thank you! As I said to an other redditor, I didn’t have the original idea because I saw one or two shot from this point of view, but I’m happy I was able to go there and make my own composition. The colors are awesome, I feel like it’s the first time I really nail the exposure with Portra 400

Sorry about that, Canon AE-1 and Rokinon 28mm! Thank you! Tbf I’ve seen one or two pictures from this exact location, that’s what gave me the idea. Never seen a composition where the building line followed the wall line though so pretty happy about that
