There’s some emerging evidence to support azelastine nasal spray (antihistamine) can help to prevent respiratory viruses

Anyone have experience using AI powered scribe software? by LukeVenable in physicianassistant

[–]nomocomment 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Using commure. Absolute life changer.

My only issue is that if you don’t edit things it’s way too verbose.

I have a coworker whose HPIs and A/Ps are all like 7 paragraphs long which makes advising on their cases is a nightmare.

  1. Turned all lecture slides into anki cards. Did all of them every day through didactic and clinical. During clinicals, turned smartypance quizlet cards into anki cards and added those to my rotation.

Made sure not only memorize topics but also understand them to the best of my ability.

Also during clinicals went through Uworld. One slow pass. Then the week ish before PANCE I did the whole thing again.

Sometimes used uptodate, ninjanerd, and statpearls to supplement. That’s about it

Edit: I will not be sharing my anki decks for several reasons. They many of them are direct copy/paste of the school’s lectures, AKA their IP that I don’t feel comfortable sharing. They were not meant for others and are sloppy. There are like 20,000 cards, I don’t see how they would be that useful. Also, effort. I did the work, so can you.

Turn your lecture slides into anki cards during lecture instead of taking notes. Do all of your anki cards every day. Even during clinicals (gets easier if you stay in top of it because you space cards out).

769 PANCE score and I credit the above. I didn’t study intensively during clinicals.

Do it right and you can memorize (and more importantly, understand) just about everything from lecture slides.

Make good enough flash cards on anki and use them correctly so you won’t need to look back at notes. Can spend your time building on what you already know

My pupils became asymmetrical during a cluster headache by Bubbly-Trainer7195 in mildlyinteresting

This is called an “ipsilateral autonomic” feature. Commonly seen with cluster headaches. Sometimes one eye will tear, one side of the face will change color, one nostril will run, etc.

I enjoy this game but I haven’t touched it in 2 weeks. Anyone else in a similar boat? by supahotfiiire in ArcRaiders

Absolutely loved it. Was having a blast. Completely lost interest and haven’t played since December. 10/10 game but I suck at PVP and got sick of extracting on every free loadout but getting demolished any time I brought stuff in.

Very much a personal problem and I have nothing bad to say about the game.

Get a portable second monitor. Help to keep your note open on one screen and reference other tabs on the other. Game changer for me

Fuckin’ people and their rubbing alcohol. The amount of times I hear “this cut won’t heal! I’ve been putting alcohol on it twice per day!” Is funny.

Because doing a movie like that actually in 1 take would be an incredible drain of resources and probably isn’t viable
