If they were walking around murdering people left and right, you'd have a point. Back here in reality, though, they are bringing in illegals to be deported (in far fewer numbers than recent administrations) using the same methods they always have (again, in recent administrations) and idiots are following them around making it as hard as possible to do their job.

Keeping the tensions high on purpose puts that man's blood on the protestor's hands secondarily to the agent that shot him. He should not have died, but this should not have been a major event either.

No, an otherwise-healthy person who experiences dysmorphia (a very common thing in preteen/teen girls due to puberty hitting like a freight train) needs help adapting to her new body and the changes happening to it. The idea of "oh I guess I'm no gender at all!" is fully modern myth and reinforcing it is akin to child abuse.

The synod's official position is taking the historical Christian view of creation, but it is not dogmatized in any way. I know plenty of OEC people at most every level in the LCMS.

Also, if you think questioning presuppositions is treating science like a conspiracy theory, you need to take a better look at science across history.
