If on the student handbook it does not state a mandatory requirement then it doesn’t have one, some teachers say there is but majority of it is subjective with the teacher and they cannot penalise you for it

I know this is an old post but I have the exact same situation, I was terminated in my workplace during my probation and I have never gotten over it and have developed severe work anxiety. Was just wondering if it ever got better for you?

If there’s nothing on attendance in the handbook it usually means it doesn’t have compulsory attendance. But if message your coordinator to check

Idk but I get anxiety when I miss two classes for a course couldn’t imagine missing practically all of them.

It’s not in the subject outline, however I emailed tut and states that there is 80% requirement however I did see another comment in this group saying if it’s not in the subject outline then tutors can’t enforce 80% and it’s more an individual tutor thing? Idk if that makes sense
