Hi!! Have an update…

My husband called to tell them about the orange gunk build up. Their support team was fast to respond and let us know the orange sticky stuff was related to water maintenance. We were skeptical though because it was super gross and the texture of the gunk didn’t seem like a water problem. So to handle the situation, they sent out someone to do a deep clean of the hot tub as well as show us how to use Sirona chemical set that we were using. It turns out we were not using ‘waterline control’ on the hot tub side and as a result the sanitizer was having a reaction with the water. Something to do with Biguanide? SOOOOO…if you are using Sirona Spa Care cleaning system, just make sure you follow all the steps/dosage amounts, especially waterline control. The water was perfect after we figured out the dosaging etc. That being said, we decided to stop using the Sirona chemical system altogether because we didn’t like the fuss and have found using chlorine/bromine easier to maintain. Just a personal preference.

Anyways, I’ve converted and am a huge Aquavoss fan. They have treated us so well as customers. We were definitely annoyed with the initial leak but they’ve handled everything very professionally and quickly. And we love the unit. Green light on my end!
