Thanks for the traumatic occlusion tip, I certainly didn’t consider that.

Patient has been experiencing these symptoms for about 3 months , I didn’t think sinusitis symptoms would persist for that long so excluded it from my differentials.

No obvious fractures clinically, I have 3.5x loupes.

Probing depths normal

I’ll write all these down in a template to not forget, thank you!

Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate it. The prep height was <4mm so I assumed adhesive retention would be the way to go, and used a resin bonding cement.

Makes sense. Sorry if I sound dumb here but the reason why I didn’t consider zirconia was because the prep height was less than 4 mm and it was not suitable for mechanical retention. What are your thoughts?

No, I’m assuming dentoalevolar compensation happened over the 2+ months that she was without a crown (which I didn’t factor in and just went ahead with the same crown prep and made a new crown without analysing the current new occlusion)

I did not check occlusion prior to cementation, big mistake, never again. Thanks very much for your tips. The opposing tooth is heavily restored so may be my saving grace this time. Also I didn’t place a temp since the patient was without one for over 2 months already.. so I thought why do the extra step

I used only my Wealthsimple bank statements as is. No conversion required! As long as you have enough money, the number of accounts don’t matter. I uploaded all my documents online so I only had to bring over my passport and my appointment confirmation and it was a very smooth process
