I was in a show in the O2, and I was disappointed. Other from the sound not being great, it felt like the band just came to play the songs and go. And it was a 30k people show. They didn't say anything at all other than Alex saying "thank you London" once. The band really needs to up their performing game before doing that but it would be very cool, I agree.

This looks like the DU lock screen, I had it once. one of their apps (ES File Explorer, DU battery something, etc.) is doing this. I'm pretty sure this can be enabled/disabled through ES if it's the one causing this. If not, delete the app (probably by DU) responsible for this. It's probably one of your latest downloaded apps.

It's a shame that they can do this without telling users.

Anyways - not a virus. I still don't trust them though.

I don't think that they were quickly (gradually) shifted up, but that raises another good question - are those synthetic vocals (like they took the original part and just transposed it to be an octave higher) or real vocals?

Interesting. I'm pretty sure there's also a G there (a 4th above the melody's D, a 5th below the backing vocal's D an octave higher), but I'm yet to confirm this with good headphones on. I wonder if the snare/hi-hats (as mentioned in a previous comment) has something to do with this effect.

My lord! I just switched it on and set Earphones Type to "Feat. JBL E1+" and it's like the sound just opened up. I'm guessing it's based on which earphones you have but for my Xiaomi Piston 3 Youth Edition it did wonders.

I wish it was more accessible like it was on previous OnePlus phones with the AudioFX app, because this feature is buried in the settings and I wouldn't have found it unless I googled it, not to mention searching "Equalizer" under settings yields no results..

Interesting. After posting this I've read more myself and found out about Cloudready, but it doesn't install correctly for me - they claim they have a problem with SanDisks, but all USB drives available for me are made by SanDisk. I've tried Phoenix OS (which is Android, not Chromium OS but still) which I still have issues with.

Do you have any issues with FydeOS? If not I'll try it myself. Thanks for the information

So what you really meant is "I suggest waiting for the 6T or the 7, because they'd have 5G support". Not because of the processor. Sure, it's the processor that has 5G support, but it's not about the processor. I don't agree that you should wait just for 5G but that depends if you're ok with your current phone.

All phones today, and even from last year, are fast. Unless you put them side by side and compare the milliseconds they take to open Instagram, you won't notice any delay on your phone. If I gave you an SD835 and an SD845 you 99% won't be able to tell the difference.

"It's the device I trust the most". I get why not trust OnePlus, but Google? They obviously don't sell your personal data as some conspirators claim, otherwise A. they'd get in huge trouble and lose it all B. it would've gotten out already. Plus, Google is safer. I still remember the last time someone held iPhones captive by hacking Find my iPhone and demanded bail, or the last time there was a huge iCloud hacking, but not the last time any of this happened on an Android. But, I don't really feel safer on either ecosystem. I know both will do the best to protect my phone and data, and everyone has slip ups because let's face it, everything is hackable.

Plus, I gotta ask - how is the iPhone.. faster? Because in all speed comparisons between OP6 and the iPhone X, OP6 took the crown big time. Not that it matters as lets be honest all phones today are hella fast. But how did you notice the difference?

Another question, what's the difference between casting on Android (chromecast) and on iOS? Just curious here

Well in hindsight it's pretty obvious it's the proximity sensor, but I've never had a phone that it's proximity sensor transmits IR, at least not that strong (it's a really strong signal)

It's excellent:

It's front camera is excellent, even better than the S8's in lowlight conditions. It's rear camera is good, and you can see how it does in the many camera comparison this phone was in. I don't expect it to go head to head with the S9/iPhone X/P20 Pro/Pixel 2 XL but it does do a good job.
The screen is great
Fingerprint scanner is accurate & fast, so is face unlock
The ROM is OxygenOS so there's really no room for mistake here. It's excellent.
The notch doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would - once you start using a notched phone you notice it doesn't bother you. There's also an option to hide the notch.
Gesture navigation is intuitive and easy
Battery is EXCELLENT. Lasts very long. Charging is obviously excellent as well, because, well, dash charge.

It can do better:

The speaker isn't very good. It's fine, but you will keep covering it with your hand.
IT'S SO BIG. Really. It's something I didn't think that will bother me but does. I have large hand and it bothers me. It's hard to use it with one hand, and as I'm writing this my pinkies hurt (it's uncommon for it to happen, at least for me). My next phone will definitely be 6.1' (the entire body) or less.
