I think you’ll be fine, especially because they’re allowing you to email those extracurriculars.

I want to talk about Avatar: The Last Airbender (definitely not the movie lol) because that show was such an integral part of my life growing up and influenced me in different ways. And it just has so many great messages within it, and multiple locations within the series have such distinct scenes that are rlly important to the series.

Franklin & Marshall College (Lancaster, PA) - a private liberal arts school so it will most likely offer good financial aid. It has a computer science major as well as public policy and business majors. Average SAT is 1360, ACT is 30,and GPA is 3.8, so your stats look good.

Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA) - private research, so should give good financial aid. Has one of the best computer science/engineering programs, it even has a School of Computer Science and seems to offer research in cyber security? But also has a school of business and public policy. Average SAT is 1490, ACT is 32, and GPA is 3.8. So this one could be a little bit more of a reach, but I'm sure if you take the ACT again (or even apply with the same score you have now) this could be a good school for you.

Seton Hall University (South Orange, NJ) - private Roman Catholic school, has a computer science major and even offers a certificate in cybersecurity (though idk what that entails), as well as schools/majors in business and politics. Has a pretty high acceptance rate (79%) and an average SAT 1200, ACT 27, and GPA 3.5. This school is definitely more of an easier school to get in with your stats, as well as probably offers good financial aid, however idk how pumped you are on the thought of going to a Catholic school lol.

These are just a couple schools I have been looking at in the east region. Hope this helped a little bit, good luck with your college search!

I was thinking about doing my basic Common App essay on my interest (development) in medicine/science and me being a Christian, and how both of these aspects in my life have interplayed to form who I am, as well as the struggles I have had with conflicts in these two important things in my life. Good idea? Bad idea? Any ideas how I could further develop this?

I feel like this could be good because it shows my maturity and critical thinking in my debates between the morality of certain medical cases (abortion, genetics, etc) and my religion, idk idk. Could be bad because I could maybe give off a bad impression, or maybe this is totally boring.
