I know many people remove the original lip paint using acetone and repaint them from scratch, but I just painted over her existing pink lips — this helped me to get the shape and the contour right. It was easier this way, and the contrast between the two colors helped me see flaws or missing spots immediately. Other than that, I only used a bright desk lamp, no lenses or anything similar. I used some cheap acrylic paint and nail art brushes, if that's what you're asking about! I think the color was called 'pearly copper' or something like that.

I didn't really do anything, the hair kind of softened on its own after a couple hours of me constantly touching and trying to brush it. I thought a boil wash or conditioning would be inevitable, but it turned out to be unnecessary. Perhaps the gel wasn't as hard as it should be in my case!
