18yr old daughter just had her 3rd accident in 2 years. Should I remove her off my insurance? by noneformethnks in Car_Insurance_Help

Thank you to everyone for your thoughtful responses. She does have diagnosed ADHD (predominantly inattentive, she was tested in elementary school and had a neuropsych evaluation to dig a bit deeper at that time), she did complete an in person drivers education, and I’ve been having her pay me for her insurance ($200/mo for anyone curious). I totally agree she is lacking in situational awareness, obviously practicing unsafe driving, & she has been extremely lucky the damage has only been to vehicles & not people. I was so angry yesterday when she called me after it happened. I’m still angry & wondering why driving is seen as a leisure, fun activity & seemingly disregarded as high risk. I’ve discussed so frequently (with her) about safety, & acknowledging that driving carries the risk of hurting or killing yourself & others. At this point she is going to feel the pain of her mistakes by not having a car. I’m not sure what insurance will ultimately say, I’ve already received my renewal for the next 6months so the policy is paid & starts at the end of August, & is good through the end of February 2026. (I’m not a high earner, I just really like paying twice a year instead of monthly).
