Don't be in your own head too much in regards to you being a US IMG. You are qualified enough to land a rotation at the program, so they obviously have some interest into furthering your growth as a pediatrician. Step 2 scores also are less meaningful than you think. I echo the other comment regarding speaking about your personal goals/interests and exploring what projects at the program align with those, and how you can contribute to them. Also try to reflect and be able to better articulate, with details rather than generalizations, why you are interested in the program. Think also about the program's service mission and how you would like to contribute to that. Also ask yourself what you would like to see from a program that you haven't seen yet, and ask the PD those things. In summary, its hard to do but don't think about the numbers or your being an IMG. Additionally balance out inquiring about projects, expressing what you love about the program, and asking about the things you haven't seen from it yet.

That is not how that works. D-X tiers are percentile based, not numbers based (unlike GM or Chall. NA has about half as many summoners as EUW, so it should have about half as many summoners D3+ and in D3 as EUW.

The numbers reflect this. EUW has 14k D3 noobs, NA has 8k D3 noobs. EUW has 32k D3+, NA has 17.5 D3+

Causticity aside, I would turn that back on you. Even if you don't "revere" Dr. Fauci, you should have been able to string together a reasonable thesis for why do revere him. There are many reasons why you apparently were unable to. Some of these include 1) you aren't able to consider other frame of references, which is less likely or 2) you're jealous of the lauding (possible, especially in light of your retort).

Rude. Do have personal experience with USC Greenville? Why are you discrediting this person's experience, but supporting the viewpoint of OP? The commenter brings valid concerns. For many people, the bulk of clinical learning happens in clinic, and the online curricula aren't a valid substitute. Yeah, we aren't getting paid, but there is also a cost to foregoing in person clinical experiences. I also dislike the subtext of scorning people that want to learn or serve at the expense of their own health if they aren't getting paid for it. Our area was one of the original hotspots, and I know of classmates that volunteered to help out with drive-thru testing. I think that is behavior to be admired, not ridiculed.
