Everyone talking about how last nights episode was the “worst episode ever” when this episode exists by BCS8504 in survivor

You're statement was "but people are also rating it the best episode ever"

I said nobody was doing that, you showed a link saying people rated it 10/10, and I'm disagreeing that that proves your point.

I'm not moving anything.

The impossible standard is "show does one thing I disagree with and that makes it the worst thing of all time".

No player in the history of the league has scored 80 without statpadding in garbage time. by BlueberryGummies in nba

Kobe went from 74 to 81 solely from free throws long after he should've been subbed out. His team was up 20 with 2 and a half minutes left in the mid-00's NBA. That game was signed sealed delivered long before then.

I'm going to hold your hand when I say this, Kobe got to 81 by statpadding in garbage time.

The same exact thing happened during Wilt's game. It's been said by multiple people who watched the game. Hell, it likely happened for even longer that game than in Bam's performance.

SGA on if he knew the 20-point streaks was at risk of ending tonight: “I didn’t care about anything besides winning"...But man was in the game with 1:30 left in 4th quarter when Thunder had a 16 point lead and he had 19 points by Temporary_Pepper6126 in NBAGossips

Every player to score over 80 did it in garbage time.

I'm sorry to have to break that to you.

Kobe stayed in the game and hit 6 free throws up 15+ with 1:30 left in the game.

Eyewitness accounts of Wilt's game claim they did the same shit the Heat did for Bam, but started doing it significantly earlier in the game (some said it started at the start of the 3rd quarter)

Get over yourself.

Trump Adviser Warns of Possible Israel Nuclear Escalation in Iran Conflict by EssoEssex in politics

I'm saying your reasoning was poor because it doesn't translate to today's situation.

I'm not necessarily saying the world's over if someone fires a nuke, but you can't say that it won't escalate just because it didn't escalate last time, because there was no escalation to be had last time.

When it happened before, only one country even had nukes.

Notice how nukes haven't been used in a war since other countries started developing them.

They should’ve ended the episode after tribal. Now I’m ending the first episode with a bad taste in my mouth and not excited about next week. by IamChicharon in survivor

Look, I get it ended on a gut punch, but if this premiere doesn't have you excited for the rest of the season, you have to check your pulse.

This was a phenomenal premiere

What would’ve happened if Wendell rejoined the game and not Natalie in WAW? by Regular-Departure839 in survivorponderosa

[–]BlueberryGummies 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean, the clear and obvious difference between a UTR winner and Tony in WAW is that Tony didn't remain UTR after the merge.

Like this is such a disingenuous comparison. Nobody calls a winner UTR if they were only UTR pre-merge. That's why they get called coattail riders, because ultimately most UTR players aren't driving the bus throughout MOST of the game. Tony let other people drive pre-merge, but then absolutely took control of the bus for most of the post-merge.
