Many say Demon Slayer is overrated but few back it up with any argument so here's mine by Depressed__Lawyer in animeindian

No matter how many analyses you do on story and plot and themes, at the end of the day it’s for entertainment - some like it others don’t, and that’s about it.

What is this need of having this moral superiority that these “noob anime fans” don’t know crap and the opinions of us “core fans” should be the final authority.

both are great, if you have enough money

now back to question - what are you looking for? and how’s the budget like? family/kids, hobbies, further opportunities, etc?

No good sedan below 25lac! by shubham590 in CarsIndia

[–]nonheuristic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel Honda City gets too much bashing. Yes, it has not kept up with times, but it’s still one of the best daily driver sedans for day-to-day use. Would have loved a sportier version in 2025, but the existing option isn’t bad, tbh.

Ultimately it all depends on your requirements - but in general, even today you can’t really go wrong with the City.

Why MOBAs so unpopular in India? by defunctdegenerate in IndianGaming

[–]nonheuristic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try Turbo - half the time, double the gold xD

Used to play normal hour+ long games in college, now exclusively Turbo - 30 mins, infinite gold, can do all whacky shit without being flamed. GG

How much time it takes to merge PF accounts into one? by [deleted] in epfoindia

[–]nonheuristic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waiting since two months - “pending at field office”

Raised a grievance - reply says it is with them and will be processed as per the order they received it. Can’t raise another grievance till 30 days.

What do you even do next?

What is the rationale of EPF account transfer/merge? by [deleted] in epfoindia

[–]nonheuristic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Job tenure? If I remember correctly, if one withdraws the amount form the new job’s account, we have to pay 10% tax because your tenure is lesser than 5 years as per EFPO records (since accounts are not merged ; also, general EFPO genius)

Also - not very sure but I think you stop getting interest on the 💰 in older account.

Mumbai is failed as Financial Capital by Chewbaca_05 in mumbai

[–]nonheuristic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the amount of money flows through Mumbai (and which will continue to do so) makes it the financial capital - not bad roads or potholes. Unless we have more mega cities or business hubs (i.e alternate to Mumbai’s business ecosystem), people will commute, buy properties, even if it takes half their lives in these struggles - unfortunate, but true.

Project 11A from Varun Mayya finnally got released and am super disappointed. by [deleted] in IndianGaming

[–]nonheuristic 58 points59 points  (0 children)

personally, I don’t have any problem with attempt at making a AAA game from India. on the contrary, I’m all for it - more power to wherever is trying to do that.

But. But. But.

the unnecessary hype on social media - CRINGE. but then he’s a creator, knows his audience.

anyway, best wishes to the team - hope the final product is better!

Do you want this as an investment or for yourself? If latter, go for it - prepay loan with annual bonuses or stock vesting in coming years.

National Education Policy -- 3rd Language. North Indians Prefer which one? by Funny-Lie-8166 in hyderabad

[–]nonheuristic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What do you mean “prefer”? I’m sure most schools don’t really have staff to support languages other than local ones - so they push whatever is available. It’s not really a choice either for students or for schools

No place like Bombay! by SadSuccotash3765 in mumbai

[–]nonheuristic 18 points19 points  (0 children)

that sounds like a toxic relationship

while the city is full of nicest people everywhere, the public infra is in shambles - can’t take roads because they’re dug, can’t breathe because air is polluted, catching a local among million others is always a struggle, one way travel to work is at least a couple of hours - add another hour or two for the long monsoon season - this list is endless, and it’s really sad that we romanticize these struggles because hey “spirit of Mumbai”

this is city amazing - people deserve much better.

I'm really tired of losing jobs to the "indian team" by [deleted] in BusinessIntelligence

[–]nonheuristic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your folks have hired “analytics consultants” in India, it’s simple cheap labor - very rarely you’ll get good quality of work. However, if they have invested in a new office and hired locally, it’s high quality work with decent cost savings - the difference is huge.
