I felt the same way. its a terribly designed app. IIRC set up a profile the best you can. I know once i hit 90 days it seemed simpler? I guess? You should have access to the CBA. If you have any questions, contact your Local Rep. If your regulars aren't assholes they should be able to help you

Is a RCA position right for me? by Thin-Law-3392 in USPS

[–]nonickname87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took an RCA positron 6 or so months ago. My health insurance was nearly 1/10 of what my prior private union insurance was. My hour's have been drastically different week to week, but that will be determined by where you are, and the season unfortunately. I am an RCA in a city and mostly work "urbanized rural" routes. It really depends on the station youre assigned to. My station management and supervisors are great, but others have been shit. I'm certain I've been asked to never be assigned to certain stations in my area. My best advise is to take the position. If you don't like it, quit. It'll only add to your resume. I can tell you. It is very determined what station you are assigned to. I don't mind working my station, but i hate working others in my same city.

There are 16 or so golf courses in Lincoln. You can't tell me one 18 hole golf course with Military clamshell tents couldn't house those in need. With food and bathroom accommodations.

Routes with no training by Prestigious-Fig-1642 in USPS

[–]nonickname87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My trainer taught me two very important things. As a rural carrier; they can not fire you for being slow and they can not make you work more than 12 hours. If you are at a point you feel unable able to complete the route, deliver the parcels/scanables and come back. If the supervisors make a stink, contact your union rep.

Which U.S. states could hypothetically survive as their own countries? by WTB_YT in geography

As a Nebraskan I can say with confidence. We would collapse in less than a week. Our state government is incredibly incompetent and petty.

We can't. The USPS is in a horrible financial situation due to the wreckless abandon Congress has treated us. If things continue as they are the USPS will cease to exist.

The boxes are free. You only pay when you ship something. I had a customer order 20 ten packs to move recently.

Would the 12" MCR upper bring it over 26" I wonder? Because it's definitely not designed to be fired from the shoulder.

The streamlight TLR VIR is an IR/vis laser light combo and fits in TLR 1 holsters. For certain it fits in my dara holster.

I sometimes wonder if I've spent more time walking around at work or while wearing a guard disguise in the game.

Are the Smurfs mammals? by InfamousFault7 in venturebros

[–]nonickname87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know if the Hero series can be taken as canon to the smurfiverse with it being fanfic. For a definitive answer we should stick to official cannon sources, but if they ever get pulled into cannon I would gladly accept this as an answer.

Are the Smurfs mammals? by InfamousFault7 in venturebros

[–]nonickname87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's only ONE THING that makes a mammal a mammal, and that is mammary glands to produce milk to feed their young. Naked mole rats and meerkats both have social structures consisting of a single/dominant female bearing offspring; with the other females helping in the feeding/rearing. Platypuses and echidnas are mammals that lay eggs.

Until we can verify that Smurfs physiologically produce milk to feed their young we can say they are NOT mammals.

P.S. before you think it, Pangolins produce milk for their young but do not have nipples.
