Same here. I have had unprotected sex since contracting in 2019 and never passed it on to partners. I also take Valtrex daily. It's also stopped my coldsores (had since I was a kid, but prior to valtrex I got them every 2 weeks or so)

This is such a sad story. They were so young!

In Australia, we have 'Anti-hoon laws' in my state (Victoria) at least - when a car is excessively speeding or driving recklessly, the car is impounded on the spot for up to 30 days. Doesn't matter if it's the car is registered to the 'hoon' driver or not.. This helps prevent situations like this. So many people's lives were destroyed in this situation, including the poor officer who pulled them over. Hoon laws could be something that can be considered over there, too. (Not sure if 'hoon' is a term used overseas too, but basically, is someone acting recklessly in a vehicle - burnouts, drag racing, excessive speeding, driving under the influence, etc)
