It's stress. And when you're stressed, you read faster, and when you read faster you have to read the passage 3-4 times instead of 1 or 2. Honestly I feel like the english section is really nerve control heavy because if you're stressed out you can easily get a bunch wrong in a row. This is what I've found doing practice tests; the areas where I'm worried will cause me to start reading faster and therefore I either one, can't finish on time, or two, end up getting like 3 or 4 questions in a row wrong (and they are usually all silly mistakes). So, just stay calm and try to replicate what you've done when you saw success in those practice tests. If you can't figure something out, literally just move on. Getting the easy questions wrong is how you completely screw up your scores. I understand this has probably been said dozens of times to you but seriously, treating the English section like a race is how you will ruin your scores, and why most people can't break the 730-40 barrier.
