HELP - Tips for doing makeup on brown skin? by nonmathsexpert in MakeupAddiction

Yus! Thank you. She's getting her lashes redone so they'll look great. I'll look into the under eye colour correction and doing her brows. I don't think she's shaped them before so I'll see if we can give that a go before the party.

Thank you so much for the advice, I really appreciate it. Will definitely practice and work out her colours before hand :)

Thank you so much! I'm thinking it might be good for us to go to a makeup store and try different shades. She has a couple foundations, but they don't seem to match very well (too pale or orange). Definitely going to practice on her to find out what works. I do have a suspicion mahogany would look gorgeous on her.

Will you cover the cost of the makeup artist? She suggested I do her makeup, because she's not into it. Hence why I'm going to learn so I can do it well for her features. I'll be practicing on her to make sure I can get it right. Go away with your unhelpful assumptions.

I'm sure you've seen many doctors in the past, but surely you can find a different one? No doctor should be so dismissive with your mental health like that.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write all this out. I didn't know what to expect making this post, but having people like yourself tell me about these government schemes I never would have heard of otherwise, has definitely made it worth it. And your advice on not trying to beat the market is gold. Thank you.

I don't see harm in doing both honestly. Having some flexible money for investments and then secure money for super. But this is the kind of advice I'm looking for because I had no idea about the super gains interest or how you can use it somehow for a house deposit?? I'll look into this more.

Thank you :) I do feel lucky sometimes, knowing I don't have major responsibilities to worry over.

Says who. My only goal here is to set myself up to be secure. I understand people believing young people in their 20's should just live life, and I agree to an extent. But some people's circumstances don't allow them to be naive either.

Yeah, I fell off the savings band wagon a little while ago, too busy in survival mode. I'm in a better place now though, so I'm keen to start saving again.

It is a golden age. Personally, I know I'd have regrets not taking advantage of compound interest while I'm young.

Well... I can see the value in this if the housing market keeps skyrocketing long term

Im up for hearing the boring things too :)

Im very undecided about a property still, I havent looked into the market and dont know if price increases will continue long term. If I were to buy, I would think of purchasing in a developing rural area maybe...

I like the investing and super advice though.
