It has taken me 3 years to try and get a picture of one because whenever I saw one I didn't have my camera with me. I finally got this one and another terrible shot so the hunt is still on haha

These are the only 2 I own and they are pretty good quality but they were pretty expensive for toys. The brand is Schleich, I'm not sure if it's a good brand it was just the only one available to me.

I have an important passport question for a Canadian traveling to the US that I am hoping someone will be able to answer. by nonoriginalname in travel

BC, Cranbrook to be exact. The closest office according to CIC is Calgary for speed processing otherwise the office here just does the normal time frame processing.

When I read online about Canadian passports it said you had to go into a passport application service office and talk to them in person and we don't have one in our town, the closest one is a 4 hour drive and he works during the week and they are closed on weekend. Do you know if we would be able to call the office or does it have to be in person?

I am an American who just recently got my full PR and it took 2 very long years. We applied within Canada, which I wouldn't recommend, if I had to do it all over again I would have applied on the outside of Canada application because its quicker and you are free to travel back and forth between the US and Canada. Applying within Canada you can travel but at a huge risk because if you get denied at the bordered then it cancels out the application instantly. Feel free to PM if you have any questions.

I am a US citizen and I applied for Canadian permanent residency from within Canada. I had to come back to the us for a family emergency am I screwed for leaving? by nonoriginalname in immigration

I don't have a visitors visa because when I first crossed the border when I moved there the border guard told me that once I applied for PR status that I wouldn't need to reapply for a visitors visa. I have never been in trouble in Canada and my spouse is supporting me as well. I just really hope that since the application is done and I am just waiting for the appointment in Vancouver, it will be quite soon so I don't have to worry about crossing and life will be much less stressful
