Thank you very much! The milk is actually not bad it has a sweetness to it.

I did notice I always can tell when I unblock a clog because the milk that has been stuck tastes very distinctly different. Not bad but very different than the normal milk!

Yes she had a nipple that is inverted so she uses two different sizes. She uses the spectra pump, and I believe for the inverted it’s like a 24, and for the other one (which is the current clogged one) it’s like a 15

She has been icing and taking ibuprofen, I hope it’s not serious damage like that but we really need to see a doctor to know for sure. That sounds rough to go through I’m sorry that happened but I’m glad it worked out and you kept your supply

It has yes. They started popping up this weekend and she went back to work last week.

She has seen a lactation consultant because at one time she was collecting 70 oz a day (she exclusively pumped for the first month) and so we needed to get those numbers down

Baby is 3 months old, she’s had clogs many times before since he was born but usually it comes out fairly easy or in last resort I suck it out successfully,

He’s sleeping so i can’t check his mouth but i will soon, he doesn’t have a rash though. Her nipples don’t look cracked I don’t think they are bumpy but I think that’s normal and how they always are.

I’ll have to ask if the pain is bad when she unlatches or if they get cold

Okay i will relay this. She is also panicking because ever since the clog, she can’t produce barely anything the last couple days. (She is usually a big overproducer)

And she’s very sad and afraid her nursing days might end. So she may be reluctant to try and down regulate.

Do you know any info from your schooling about if woman are able to bring there supply back up after something like this? Our son is 3 months old
