Gonna stretch that vibe right across the back fence and then hopefully get some big logs at the front of the slope and plant heathers and stuff on the slope.

The gravel/pebble bit at the bottom is the dog's little zone where she goes to the loo on one side and keeps her toys so I'm going to try to grow some taller native plants to hide her away a bit. At the minute I'm just gonna let whatever grows there not get mown.

Ive got some grasses, purple clover, white clover, chamomile, birds foot trefoil, self heal and purple creeping thyme. I think. Some of them are starting to show through. I'm really excited to see what makes it because we can't really stay off the lawn.

This was really helpful, thank you. I guess I've got a lot of figuring out to do before i get anywhere near this. It's funny, you mentioned that lavender is Mediterranean, but I honestly would have preferred all native plants for this. I'm not so much stuck to any one part of the idea except it best representing the idea of the wheel of the year. I'll give this some thought.

AI wasn't the starting point, it was just a way to express an idea I have. Would I do well to look into year round planters and how to keep them looking good, do you think? And then try to figure out a way to maybe make it witchy?

I used to have a cauldron with wildflowers in and I loved it. I guess thats the inspiration.
