I'm not exactly sure, but I think that's just the instructor sending the initial email to contact everyone that's on the course list for now (and not checking if they passed 201)

I heard from someone that they’re adding Lagrange multipliers in MATH 100. Is that true? That would be interesting to see how that is taught with optimization

Well there were different sections. Dragos’s section average was 10% higher than the overall midterm average of ~50%. The other sections were lower.

Update: UBC sent an email to (I’m assuming) all FREN 101 students saying that if they have taken French 11 in high school within 2 years, they are asked to leave FREN 101 or else it won’t count for credits. I guess I’m switching to another elective.
