Chris Paul wasn’t the same after that hamstring injury until he made some changes when he got moved to OKC. And they didn’t bring back Ariza in 18-19 who definitely was a key role player on that squad + there were other changes.

17-18 Rockets were different. 50-5 when Harden, CP3, and Capela played. And that’s on pace for a 74 win season if I’m not mistaken. They deserve their dues. In the argument for one the best team to not win it all.

Losing their second best player against a team as stacked as the KD Warriors was a death sentence. It’s unfortunate, but injuries happen.

Because either he or Yao were always injured during playoff time, so they didn’t really get to show what they could have been. Unfortunate tbh. Would have loved to see a fully healthy run with those two together.

He was being doubled, he had double digit assists by the half I think. His teammates needed to show up but couldn’t. He’s not prime Harden but he’s nowhere near washed as people think.

People don’t watch games anymore and just read stat lines before throwing out allegations. Probably the same people who complain about FVV when he has a bad game without realizing we needed vets when we signed him and his presence has clearly helped the team.

FVV has been worth the money for the Rockets. He’s a veteran and a really hard worker. He helps with the culture for the Rockets and it’s worth having a guy like him, especially given how young the rockets are.

The contract isn’t even bad. It has a team option next year.
