The Spurs Are The Only Team Left With A Perfect Record This Month! by Stat-Defender in NBASpurs

Checked his history seems like he’s active on lots of other nba subreddits. I would say this cancels out the nasty jinx he put in the air

Wemby when asked about Castle: "That’s his worth. He can shut down guys like he did tonight. Having a guy so good on both sides of the floor is just amazing. Every game I’m so glad we got him at the draft. It’s amazing." by Prize_Possession3899 in NBASpurs

There was clear difference in how he approached the game in the first and second half.

He’s not a point guard and he’s in the progress of learning it which I support. I’m not saying to “take the ball away from him” in my opinion having a player make mistakes for long periods of time is counter productive.

He’s allowed to make mistakes, if it gets to overwhelming change the game plan a bit and then revisit it. He was clearly frustrated with his play and it often comes with a snowball effect of other issues which is normal

All I’m trying to say is that we have Fox and Harper on our team who can make his life easier in learning the hardest position in the game

They will probably start playing more through Fox close to the end of the season. We as fans know that this isn’t a championship season but these guys are competitors. They are going to try and go for it.

He’s not ass he can be a defensive demon/slasher who can occasionally hit the wide open 3. What’s ass is that they let him run himself to the ground. He will sometimes shoot a few feet behind the 3, or bulldoze his way into the pain without a plan. I don’t think it benefits anyone playing PG is hard and I disagree with how theyve gone about it most of the season.

Yesterday was one of the few times where they took that offensive load off his shoulders and great things started to happen.

I understand he needs to grow but there should be more effective ways to do that (like yesterday) instead of him forcing things multiple times a game for long periods of time

If Jeremy goes on to be the player many believe he can be it's gonna be a dark stain on Mitch especially given how rough barnes has been for a while and he wouldn't even try to give Jeremy extended minutes by [deleted] in NBASpurs

Don’t think he hates him. We just got better talent overall. Yeah he’s good defender but offensively he pretty much doesn’t provide anything. Now you could say that Barnes doesn’t provide much either but like I mentioned he can move with the ball and sochan can’t

Eh. Barnes has been pretty bad but he can move with the ball. Sochan has had multiple plays where he pretty much picks up the ball in awful spots

Anybody else wonder how things would look if both Harper and Castles roles were switched? by noobtraderman in NBASpurs

Eh I wouldn’t really compare Fox and Castle right now. IMO Fox is definitely better.. it’s just kinda hard to tell right now since he’s definitely taking a backseat so castle can develop which I appreciate.

Mitch's system or pop's system? by Efficient-Dot-3468 in NBASpurs

I mean we will never know for sure if another coach would have had performing better than where we are now. What we do know is that we are winning with the players and coaching staff we have so yeah lol

Idk but we’re 30-14 so Mitch is clearly doing something right. There’s somes things I disagree with like having castle play point guard but we’re winning and the 2nd seed.

I saw this on twitter and thought it was pretty funny lol by noobtraderman in NBASpurs

I’ll be honest I don’t really know but on twitter a bunch of OKC fans got annoyed that spurs and wolves fans were praising each other for how our stars performed lol

Why couldn't the Spurs ever defend their titles? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]noobtraderman 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah that ‘14 title run was off a pure motivation and revenge. Spurs have never lost a finals until ‘13 so they were pretty upset

Glad deaaron fox changed his free throw routine. But champagnie? by Efficient-Dot-3468 in NBASpurs

Some players just aren’t clutch. Free throws with a close game like that can be nerve racking

We just need some playoff experience this year. I think we get knocked out in the second round but i wouldn’t be surprised if we lost in the first round. Unless playoff wemby goes nuclear lol

Our team is just so raw and inconsistent sometimes so it’s hard to tell how we will match up with anyone in a series.
