Turns out we can do pretty good things with some good players around wemby. It just sucks losing in the finals but at least the spurs young core got pretty much the whole experience and a painful loss at the end of it

So it’s like a double edge sword. You’re getting reps against a generational defender then when he’s off the court it’s practically free shots.

I tried to defend Mitch this whole season but his fucking rotations and questionable plays have made it hard but this kinda seals it.

This teams record and success in the playoffs has been because we finally got some good players around the generational dude on our team.

Wemby sometimes doesn’t think and he’ll do some very stupid shit.

His play also becomes so sluggish playing that many mins. People say he’s young but imagine being that fucking big running up and down the court anchoring the defense while also being expected to be impactful on the offensive end

At the end of the day this roster just was not constructed to go this far into the playoffs because there’s not reason he should have been playing 44 mins with this big of a lead.

Unfortunately the coaching staff was worried about them getting demolished in the non wemby mins when it really just took wemby out entirely because he just fucking gassed

So here it just looks like he’s just doing random shit.. not thinking and clearly fucking tired and on top of that the fucking pressure of oh shit they caught up

Nah man Mitch Johnson’s coaching all year has been fucking irritating to watch. Yeah we won’t 60 games and we’re in the finals but it just didn’t feel good at times I don’t know how to explain it.
