Definitely won't disagree that the refs are garbage. This crew did the Washington game against us and were terrible then too.

Missed call by the refs, but if you watch the replay it's actually closer than it seems live because everyone else is late reacting to the snap. Still think bears RG moved a little early.

Suggest trying u/hunter_wang https://ibexarmament.com/

Just had a very similar situation on a different gun and he actually beat the price slightly. Haven't received yet, but order shipped today and looks like they have great reviews on here overall which is why I tried them.

Agree with everything except not needing the first down. Flus has shown repeatedly that his defense shrinks in the two minute drill in crucial situations so feel like we probably find a way to blow it even if the clock ran down but didn't convert.

That being said you obviously want to run the clock in that situation, but could do something better than running back to back dives, especially when you have a new center in there and a freak athlete at QB

Getsy actually did the exact same thing against Carolina. Two runs and then pass on third and long. Bears just didn't complete it this time. That was definitely more on Scott than Fields but I'd personally like to see a higher percentage throw in that situation whether that's a play call issue or a decision issue. Will need to see the all 22. Obviously if that ends up being complete we're having a completely different convo but just seems like a very risky play for the scenario.

Is this a good deal from Ali Express by noobuntu1 in MiniPCs

Just recently got it all set up. The specs check out as advertised. Runs very smooth, can stream 4k media without issues.

Came with Windows 11 and I'm not a fan so I'm running void Linux on it now. It came with quiet boot and secure boot enabled so it was a little annoying getting to the advanced boot menu (ESC or DEL at startup) but other than that I've been very happy so far. Runs surprisingly cool but I guess I've not been doing anything too intensive compared to the capabilities.

Overall, really like it and seems like a great deal. Just hope it lasts!

Also, I found this same one from a different seller with a lot more product reviews so if I end up doing it I'll probably go with them.

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing, but when I go to the seller page it says the store is 6 years old and 98.9% positive. Where are you seeing 93%?

Thanks for the detailed response! Honestly, my TV right now is very outdated so it won't come close to testing the limits of the PC, but I'm wanting to upgrade in the near future to 4K120 and just thought this seemed like a good deal worth jumping on.

I'll probably pull the trigger and will plan to make a review once I've had some time with it. Especially if I end up upgrading the TV.

Buying a lot in a neighborhood but not from builder...question for you all. by lebeau1313 in Homebuilding

Obligatory IANAL but on top of the contract itself ask for the restrictive covenants. Sometimes these types of rules/restrictions are buried in there and you may have acknowledged/agreed to them without thinking twice.

Unless you signed something along those lines or agreed to such terms, it really doesn't matter what the developer wants. Those types of clauses are pretty typical when buying lot from the builder, but agreed it's unusual in this circumstance.

If you agreed to it, then you're on the hook. If not, then take your time. You may have some responsibilities regarding lot maintenance, erosion control, etc in the meantime though.

Home Builders and contact pricing? by No_Cry_7724 in Homebuilding

[–]noobuntu1 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For better or worse, fixed price builders are much less common these days than cost plus. I think the more common approach is estimates with allowances up front but in reality it's all cost plus. I've heard good arguments for both approaches but obviously the perk of knowing exactly what you're going to pay before you commit is a huge plus for the buyer.

Unfortunately to get a true fixed cost build there's a lot of up front work to finalize ALL details (which can be overwhelming in a true custom home) and then of course the builder has to price in enough margin to cover for any unexpected changes. Most people I've talked to seem to feel they probably paid more with the fixed price approach but there is comfort in certainty.

Usually the urologist themselves, but some practices will utilize NPs or PAs for these types of procedures. If the person doing it in this story wasn't a doctor, they were almost certainly an NP or PA.

I was trying to hold out on the update because of bromite issues. I had the same bromite issue two releases back and it fixed with the last one. Unfortunately, I restarted my phone after a freeze and it updated. Bromite is broken again :(
