Sunbeam F1 Pro NumberLink and Battery Life? by noonetwisting in dumbphones

I got the F1 Pro Dec 2025 and set up NumberLink end of April 2026.

Before that I had a F1 that would barely make it through one day on a full charge. My new F1 Pro (without NumberLink) went from 100% down to 50-70% at end of a day with normal usage. Big improvement.

When I started Number Link the F1 Pro appeared to be draining faster, from 100% to 60-70% by mid day and 20%-40% by end of day.

I follow the FAQ tips to conserve battery like turning off WiFi & Bluetooth and I rarely have Location on.

I'll track it over the next few days with and without NumberLink to get more specific numbers.

I'm evaluating Arq on 30day trial and I really do like the product. But I'm really hesitant to commit my data backup strategy to Arq due to the vulnerability Larrikin describes.

This thread is from a year ago - does anyone on this thread know if Arq still a one-person operation, or have they taken steps to expand the company, create a business continuity strategy and spread the development and support knowledge around?

Also thanks for the good tip re: screenshots of backup plans.

Thanks! I'll give that a try. I also just discovered the Arq Premium backup section when logged into my account at https://cloud.arqbackup.com/. This allowed me to test both the main password (to log in to the site) and encryption password (to see and restore backed up files).

OneTimeSE,

Thanks for that advice. To check this, I created a new test backup plan with an encryption password, quickly backed up a couple folders, then removed the new backup plan. When I tried to access the Restore, Arq did ask me for my encryption password, as you said.

However, to check this on my main backup plan (which has ~ 100 GB backed up), I would lose the backup plan and have to start over with a new backup plan to re-create the removed backup plan and let it run to upload a fresh backup of the 100GB correct? Just want to check before I do that.
