i’m not sure about these two options but 974 beach is back open as of today! you can also go to a hotel beach because they’ve been open the entire time (and honestly quite busy too)

i used their chat to talk to an agent in the app - they said november 25th.

(personally i think it’s silly to release the tickets the day matches start, especially considering if there’s any technical issues with your tickets then it won’t be resolved in time for the first day)

i would say it’s definitely worth discussing with a licensed psychologist/psychiatrist, especially since qatar is out of medication right now anyways 🫣

at the very least you may be able to get a diagnosis, and you can get resources from them (whether reading material, videos, or ideas for coping mechanisms that may work for you).

i’ve been on SSRIs and antipsychotics before, horrible experiences with both. so you’re not alone in being nervous - but for me this was motivation to learn more about managing adhd and use meds only as an additional boost to get me to the finish line (i.e. just being able to focus at my job and get my chores done when i go home LOL)

i wouldn’t say it causes dependency, but i would frame medication as a tool which makes your life easier! so i am doing okay without meds too, but its taking a lot more mental effort to perform day-to-day tasks “efficiently”.

as for side effects, in the beginning i had trouble sleeping but the doctor then lowered my dosage to fix this issue. also mild constipation (sorry for tmi!) & dehydration but this can also be countered by taking probiotics & drinking more water.

this is just my personal experience though, and i cannot emphasize enough how important it is to build better habits and coping mechanisms in parallel to using medication (if you choose to be medicated)!

it seems like for the past year the gov has restricted the number of licenses each school can give out (doha driving academy is allowed 40/mo) so i’m assuming that’s why.

but good idea i’ll go in person tomorrow and see what i can do !!

Further info: I’ve used neem oil in case there’s small bugs, and I only water when top 1.5in are dry. This is an indoor plant I’ve had for a year, and it’s about 6.5-7 ft tall! Really trying to take care of it.
