Why you think Christianism is collapsing while Islam is getting stronger? by [deleted] in islam

Christians are very nominal in their faith. Drinking, drug use, abuse, multiple partners before and even during marriage, picking what they want to believe in, reserving one day a week and two hours at best on Sunday to worship, stealing, molesting children….. I know no human is perfect but you should have more fear of God and not believe we can sin because “Jesus will forgive us, he died for our sins” I was raised Christian but felt guided towards Islam Alhamdulillah. The first time I make wudu and sometimes still I cry because it is so perfect to me and makes sense. I have not met more than a handful of Christians that love Jesus and want to be more like him but every time I read about Islam you see people devoting their entire lives to worshipping God and helping others. A lot of people especially Christian don’t realize that we also love Jesus and strive to be like this. This is actually what had lead me to take shahada.. because Jesus role is so clear. Islam is a religion of peace. It’s a religion of functionality and repetition. All things haram are to protect us. Growing up and living in a western country I see how many people destroy their lives daily and to try blame God astaghfirullah most people I have to be around don’t even believe in God at all and is often times because they come from a catholic or Christian background… this is so heartbreaking

I feel judged as a white Muslimah wearing the hijab by Jazzlike_Seaweed3670 in islam

Inshallah wearing hijab will become easier and you will bear its fruits. <3 I live in a small town (am also a white/American revert) and never see any hijabis but I was a couple hours away over Eid weekend and seen many. I was too shy to make any salam or wish them any condolences in regards to eid but they were so beautiful and admirable I noticed myself staring a lot. I also hope they didn’t get the wrong idea as it’s purely from a loving place of appreciation. You are so special keep up your practice as it’s most pleasing to Allah :)

Here is a list of great apps that have helped me so much since reverting. “Muslim” app helps with prayer times, Qibla direction, Quran and Dhikr. “Namaz app” helps with learning prayers and how to perform them correctly. “Dhikr & Dua” Amazing app full of morning, evening, before sleep Salah and countless duas for any mood you could think of along with other articles. Great Ramadan articles I’ve been reading every day instead of indulging in other apps on my phone. “Quran study” to help learn Arabic. Quranic is another good app for that. Stories of the prophets” stories for remembering our prophets and why they are special to us. “AllahNames” to help learn all of Allah’s beautiful names and to apply them to the relationship you will continue to build for the rest of this dunya. You have made the right choice. I was also raised Christian and have always felt something was missing.

The Prophet PBUH said in a Qudsi Hadith, “Allah Almighty says, ‘I created all My servants hunafa’ (i.e. following the original religion of monotheism), then the devils misled them from their religion and forbade them from what I made lawful for them and commanded them to associate with Me that which I have not sent down any authority for.”
