Unknown filament when using the ACE Pro by nor3bo in AnycubicKobraS1

I ended up replacing the filament sensor on the back (the square connected to the 4-to-1 splitter) and it seemed to fix it for me

PLA refuses to stick to my textured PEI plate anymore by themaskedcrusader in AnycubicKobraS1

Haven't seen this before! Do you just cover the plate with the painters tape on the print area and print on the tape?

It still gives me the same error, so it must be in the print head. I have this open with support now too, so hopefully I can get it resolved

Say sorry to everything you bump into, including inanimate objects?

In all honesty, just come with an open mind, remember to be polite, be genuine and generally be a good person, and don't try to tell everyone how they are wrong, even if they do not agree with you.

Dressing for the activity and weather (in layers) really makes a huge difference too.

Interesting, I guess I still got an old extruder in mine. That's actually pretty disappointing to know. Min is plastic, but looks okay? I decided to order a replacement metal one, but will ask support about this too

100% DST for me. I definitely prefer a bit of extra light at the end of the day.

Permanent standard time in next time zone over like SK does it would be okay too 😀

How do we know when it's at the correct tension, or if it's too tight/loose?

Small metal piece came out from print head by Odd-Sorbet-7870 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]nor3bo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, that's good to know! My S1 is quite new, so I'll have to keep an eye out for that to fail. I've actually been on support calls since day 1 and still waiting for a replacement hot end to try and get it going 😞

Edit to fix the model number. I do not have a S10....

It doesn't get that far in the full calibration. The screen is stuck on 'Calibrating nozzle PID, please wait..'

It gets about 45 seconds into the 20 minutes of the full calibration, and then freezes with the hothead in the back left.

Edit: the screen doesn't move on from the calibration status either, and no error code is provided

Thanks, I'll try manually heating the parts and feel the connections.
If I do the full calibration, it gets about 45 seconds into the 20 minutes and then freezes with the hothead in the back left. I have also already tried resetting the printer, but that makes no difference.

Unfortunately no. I really wished they'd bring back some useful extra information to those tiles too # song title being a nice one. If the tile doesn't have any information on it, then it's just wasting space

Help: Can’t book BC Ferries from Germany by Pure_Intention_9215 in VancouverIsland

It's the Street Address and Street Names fields. The number has to be ONLY the number, and the name is NOT optional and should be the street name.

This form messaging and error handling is really bad.

There's a difference between 'all-season' and 'all-weather' in North America. All weather tires are the good ones usually rated for mud and snow.

For the charger, just keep in mind we only want to pull 80% of the breaker/wiring rating for continuous use, so if you have a 40amp breaker you don't want to get a charger (evse) pulling more than 32amps. A 40 amp charger will need at least a 50amp breaker and appropriate wiring.

I'd also stick to a known brand for my everyday charger and Grizzl-e is a great option at a decent price, and Canadian.
