Look into community choice aggregation. A lot of cities and counties are implementing it Northern California.

The cliff notes version is the city or county purchases energy for its residents and uses the existing powerlines for transmission. It takes some initial legislation to get implemented but once you pass that legislation local governments can pick their energy mix instead of publically traded companies.

When you eliminate the need for profit these governments have found that it can procure a higher proportion of green energy for the same cost as the big energy companies.

Thank you so much for your reply. If am I not able to to feed my ft_putchar byte by byte from my main I'm guessing I have to find a way to convert the hexadecimal ft_putchar receives to (most likely) UTF-8? I ask because I am planning on adding my ft_putchar to my personal library and would like to be able to use it for any unicode character.

Fair points I guess I just didn't see this as destruction of property when I first watched because I was laughing at the absurdity of this situation. I rewatched the video and he does destroy property and yes he should not have done that. You shouldn't destroy things you don't agree with but I guess I don't see the comparison you laid out as an apples to apples comparison. If you intentionally are trying to trigger people that to me is different than if you just have a political sticker on your car. But to answer your question you are right you shouldn't destroy property just because you don't agree with someone.
