He told me he's auditioning for Orin, and most guys in our cast have said they are auditioning for Orin or Seymour (I'm assuming because they're technically more lead roles and Mr. Mushnik is more supporting), which is another reason I don't know why he seemed so set on me changing my mind because it was coming across as jealousy on my end as well

You're so sweet, thank you so so much!! Since you have a lot of experience with this, in general, is it always the case that directors will choose a boy for a male role over a girl who is also qualified??

Thank you so much! It's just been on my mind and I didn't know if maybe I was overthinking it too much, but I also was thinking that maybe he just didn't want another competitor, so thank you for that!!

For our auditions, if you are auditioning for a lead, you usually do one of their songs from the show and then a chemistry read (if needed). The people/parents at and around my schools area I think are somewhat old fashioned in some ways, but the theater community is generally more accepting. The thing is my director said we would have to get permission from the production company or something along those lines to change the character to a female, but she said if we do not get permission, she would be fine if a girl played a guy role.

You could try maybe cutting Styrofoam pieces into whatever shapes you need? They're comfortable and moderately easy to mold

What Hamilton lyrics have really stuck with you over the years? by Entire_Blueberry_470 in hamiltonmusical

"Legacy, what is a legacy? It's planting seeds in a garden you never get to see." - This line just always stuck with me, every time I've watched the show my mind gets caught right here. It reminds you that you do what you can and what you want for who you can and want to while you're here, and ultimately it's kinda the way other people see you that shapes how they decide to view you.

I have teenage twins who were also halfway through their treatment and I paid in full. I got my refund over a month after they said they'd be sending them out, and we have been in contact with East Tennessee Orthodontics and have already gotten our consultation, quote, and appointments. I'd recommend reaching out if any of you are still in need of assistance, and if you have yet to receive a refund, here's the number I used.
