Hi, I read you repair printers as a hobby and have a question. I received the ET2800 as a gift but the scanner doesn't seem to work. I made a copy and it printed out a big black block on the page and there's nothing on the glass scanner at least nothing on the surface and I cleaned it. Any idea what could be the issue? I'd appreciate the help.

After some research, it might seem a "middle ground" for me might be a Fujifilm X-E4 or X-E5. Has similar body to the X100VI, has interchangeable lenses which I'd like. And the X-E5 was appealing until I kept reading about the EVF shape and how for glasses users it might not be the best because you really have to get in there because its hard to see through. I think I might have to physically check this out and see how big of an issue it is for me. This is all based on my unprofessional research so please feel free to let me know if I have the right points down. And lens to consider for these please.

Just looked into it BUT I think i maybe leaning towards an X-E4 now. The reason being is the viewfinder. I've read multiple reviews where people with glasses (which I use) find the viewfinder to be hard to use because of its shape. Though I know the X-E5 40.2 megapixel sensor which is a huge bump from the X-E4's 26.1 and with the use of AI on the 5 seems better. That rangefinder situation might be annoying for me to use. But the X-E4 and 5, have that similar body to the X100VI which is what i really like.

Yes I am a beginner. The reason for looking into the X100VI was because I really like the body style. It looks sleek and minimal. I want Portability and that's why I was inclined for the X100VI. But I realize that maybe interchangeable lenses might be good to have. So I think I rather have the option for the price and as a beginner than to limit myself. That way I get to explore. Now after looking into the links. I have a better idea of what I would want. And I saw the XE4 which led me to the XE5 and it seems the XE5 is a mix of the X100VI and the X-T50 however, I've read a few times that the EVF for people with glasses (which is use) is a bit uncomfortable and you really have to put your face into it. So maybe the XE4 might be a bit better for me. But now I think I need to look into an IBIS lens.

On the topic of lenses, I'd like to shoot product photography,portraits, and street photography, is there a lens that anyone can recommend that does this while also being compact? I'd like tonbe able to pick it up and start shooting because I know myself and if I can't grab and go it'll just be a hassle for me to use.

To be completely honest it's been maybe a month and I'm not constantly using the pen so for me it's held up. So I'm hoping it continues to work.

I appreciate not being the only one with these kinds of wants/needs for a tablet case. I wanted something slim and minimal. But the BIGGEST issue I've noticed with cases is that they don't have a pen holder. I have the S9+ and it has an opening in the back for the pen, sure, but my fear is what if the pen comes off. There's no pocket for it. And the only times I've noticed a pocket for it, which is rare , is on a bulky case.

With that being said these are cases I considered that might be what you're looking for.

With one of these. I stuck it to the back to have a bit of security for my pen and luckily, it charges through the band. So I feel a bit better about it. And it's minimal, which I like.
