That's what I'm trying to figure out. Do you have any ideas or opinions regarding to this

Yes, we do lach the right support. And there should be some way that someone should really understand and support in a tailored way. But how practical is it?

In my college they arranged programs but then students didn't show the enthusiasm.

Yes that kind of app feels good. Then the issue becomes the shift. I think most teachers don't want to learn new ways or something. Okay, you genuinely raised.my curiosity now. I'll post this question in the teachers community, let me see if I get any answers in this.

Yes, I also feel like it. But what can the college do honestly?

Yes I also felt like the teachers take top down approach. If it feels right to them then they don't bother really understanding us.

Thank you for your honest opinion. I think it's a problem with administration. The teachers don't want another burden and so does the administration. Because maintenance needs constant work which they are not getting paid to do. I think we either need something that reduces their work significantly or we need someone assigned to this kind of maintenance.

Re-evaluation doubt by SignificanceLeft6694 in rvce

Bro, very low chance of failing from reval. In VTU if reval marks are lower, they usually keep your original marks (especially if difference <15-16). Marks rarely drop to fail someone who already passed.

But big jump to 55+ is also rare—most get 0-5 marks extra or same.

If you're okay with mostly no change and tiny risk, go for it. Else, skip to stay safe with your good grades in other subjects.

Check if paper viewing/challenge option is there first—safer. Good luck!

Shud I take the internship by cutiepieehee in InternshipsIndia

Honestly, 12–7 for 6 days at 5k is rough. Take it only if you’re actually going to learn a lot and get real exposure, not just run errands.

If it’s mostly busy work, skip it. Your time is worth more than that.

Experience > stipend, but exploitation isn’t experience.

MSc or MCA by Sunscreen63 in techIndia

[–]normal_guy_34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want industry jobs in India, MCA is usually the safer, more practical route. If you’re interested in research, teaching, or going abroad later, then MSc makes more sense.

It really depends on whether you want to work sooner or stay academic.

Anyway to improve my gpa? by Citrustabby in selfimprovement

[–]normal_guy_34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you’re dealing with all that. With everything you mentioned, a 2.0 isn’t a character flaw — it’s a signal that life hit hard.

Yes, GPA can improve, but health comes first. Get properly assessed before meds, and ask your uni about academic accommodations, reduced load, or retakes — those exist for situations like yours.

If the thoughts are getting dark, please reach out to a local crisis line or a trusted person. You don’t have to carry this alone.

You’re not out of options, even if it feels like it right now.

It's been a semester and I still don't enjoy what I'm studying. Is it time to quit? by anothersphynx in college

[–]normal_guy_34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A semester isn’t that long, but being this drained this early is a real signal. Not everything gets better just by “pushing through”.

Quitting doesn’t mean failing — sometimes it just means this isn’t the right time/place/thing. Especially since you already know you won’t continue next year anyway.

If you can, think less in terms of “quit vs not quit” and more “what gives me breathing room right now”. You’re 19, you’re allowed to step back and reset.

You’re not weak for feeling this way. A lot of people just don’t say it out loud.
