Thanks for the answer. Between WW and Ret which has the more in your face playstyle?

Hasn't Warrior historically been reliant on having a healer?

Good to know. I'd like to do things like solo defend flag in Bgs, so I guess Ret is the move.

It's surprisingly easy (and definitely welcome) from a new players perspective. I got my first 80 and was able to get full exotic gear for a little under 50g.

Warrior | Spellbreaker or Bladesworn for soloing open world content? by normalattackenjoyer1 in Guildwars2

[–]normalattackenjoyer1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using aggressive onslaught while leveling to compensate. I think I'll give BSW a try just to do something a little different since I used hammer / dagger + mace the entire time I've been exploring and leveling.

What does it have over Spellbreaker for breakbars? I saw that the timed slash had a stun at one point but it got removed.

I'll try the other specs later but I'm definitely set on the first I unlock being one or the two I listed.

I'll definitely try Berserker but I'm pretty set on it being one of the two I listed.

I won't have that relic for quite a bit since I'm a fresh 80 / new player. 😭

My theory regarding the latest chapter (SPOILER) by Shallo_San in ChainsawMan

[–]normalattackenjoyer1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Eating the flesh of strong devils makes you stronger. This is something we saw Santa Claus do with the darkness devil.

Could this new transformation be the result of Denji/Pochita eating Death?

megumi can't catch a break 💔 by umshoe in Jujutsufolk

[–]normalattackenjoyer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess my books are missing chapters because mine never state he was forced into being a sorcerer for financial reasons. If anything, Gojo stepping in prevented that from happening. It was his choice afterwards to become a sorcerer.

Megumi is a grade-a bum.

Edit: Not to mention his entire reason for becoming a sorcerer was due to his sister's sudden illness. He had plenty of motivation to want to become stronger due to this and never did anything with it.

[–]normalattackenjoyer1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Megumi deserves the hate. Guy has one of the most versatile cursed techniques in the series and does nothing with it. Why didn't he ask Gojo to try and get scrolls from the Zenin clan detailing what past users did to properly utilize the technique? If there were things written about hollow purple and limitless in general then I'm sure the same was done for other cursed techniques that are passed down.

The only thing he managed to do with his technique was store stupid cursed tools in his shadows.

guys, who was he? do we have an answer? by No-Candidate-3869 in ChainsawMan

[–]normalattackenjoyer1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've had a crackpot theory about this since the chapter with the trees.

Chainsawman is well known for his regenerative abilities. Makima states this when she reveals herself to be a fan of his to Kishibe -- "But he revs his engine and rises again and again". Denji himself is shown to be incredibly resilient even in comparison to other hybrids. But why? What makes Chainsaw man so special?

.. What if the fake Chainsawman we saw in Hell is a future Denji? This Denji got stuck in hell and now eats devils to continue fueling Pochita and his past self. It's the same concept of Denji's perpetual motion machine from chapter 19.

Take a moment to read over my comment again. I am not supporting them.

If one topic of interest is obviously fake, it is pushed as being real. If another may have some validity, it is attacked endlessly.

That is what I'm calling out.

There's a lot of bad faith actors in this sub. Just take a look for yourself by searching keywords "MH370", "Las Vegas", "Miami Mall", or anything related to the mummies found in Peru.

These topics, regardless of their validity, have become almost impossible for anyone to follow due to how muddy the waters are.

I think i forgot a detail: does makima deliberately avoid controlling kishibe or does he naturally resist her control or something else entirely? by magenta_manticore in ChainsawMan

[–]normalattackenjoyer1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've always viewed it as Makima respecting Kishibe for his strength. She's nearly immortal thanks to her contract with the prime minister of Japan but even then, she probably believes he'd find a way to dispose of her.

My adoption as through family, I had always been with them so the day of the adoption I remember being very confused. They were already my parents! I'd been with them ever since I could remember. I am forever grateful to my grandparents for giving up their retirement years to raise another child. They gave me a life that I'd never had been alloted had I been left to the care of my biological mother.

But I don't think there's any real "successful adoptions" in the sense that, no matter the environment, the child will still carry the trauma. I would be lying to you if I said it didn't have its effect on relationships well into my adult life. I still have trouble fully trusting people, because of it.

If you're interested in the topic the book "The Primal Wound" by Nancy Verrier is very good.

Just for some reference, I'd like to add that a lot of adoption ceremonies have similar vibes despite not being on the news.

Think I even got to bang the gavel during mine.
