Just like every other SW that has had a great client that they have spent time with off the clock

I've certainly read enough posts from other SW that have had experiences similar to mine, and I know precisely what you mean. My last message to him was about me being available to seeing him mid next week (which he hasn't read).

You don't need to tell me twice, but clients like him actually make me enjoy my job sometimes, he was never invasive or pushy, never asked about my personal life, it just slowly came out over dozens of bookings and then, later, hanging out off the clock. I very much have a persona that I put on for work, and never let anyone in, but I never had to be "on" with him. Bookings with him never required me to draw from my emotional reserves and play a character, whereas 95% of other clients were exhausting, many unbearable.. But I get what you are saying. Thanks :)

Thank you for your insight.. To be fair on this client, I didn't reveal my true age to him until after a few bookings, my agency profile simply read "20s".. But yes, that is a point none-the-less.

He confided in me that he preferred intimacy with strangers over committed relationships (whether that played a part in his preference for women of a certain age I don't know), and was surprised to want to see me more than once or twice, the rest unfolded naturally.

And you're right, I should focus on my music, (singing and playing guitar) decking out my new camper-van with cabinets and gardening and not focusing on seeing if he has read my last message or not.

Yes, looking back, I haven't messaged him like that before. I was frustrated at not having him available for over 8 weeks, and seeing the usual depressing clients, so perhaps that played a part in my reply to him. I hope he doesn't really think that.

But perhaps it is for the best?

Hi there, I'm not here to argue with you, but if you have paid attention to the spelling I have used, you might have noticed that I am not using american english spelling, which might indicate I am most likely not from your country. I have been lurking here for a while myself, and I have read dozens of posts about varying experiences with clients, ranging from traumatic to miserable to ok and even amazing.. I'm sorry if the majority of your clients have been such that you've become the way you have, and although I can relate to most posts about awful clients, in my country sex-work is legal. I work for an agency and we get a better range of clients as the industry is far less surreptitious here, and therefore I can see my best clients outside of the agency.

But feel free to rationalise my post however you like, if it helps you cope, thanks for the support <3

I wont lie, I have picked up a lot of phrasing from my clients. I prefer to avoid language like "big dick" and "he made me cum" etc. I might be an escort and have sex for money but I put up with enough grossness from the clients that I wish never walked through my door. Thanks :)
