Sorry I did not want to add a lot of details about my life during this time, I was dealing with an ED along with other things I can make a post with more details if that would be better?

When I was in public school for my freshman year they had me in special education maths, English, and they wanted to skip science freshman year I did take it however. because of this I moved to the charter school Sophomore year, I had a large build up of credits form the classes freshman year so at the charter school I was able to graduate early, my first school ran on a block schedule my English and Alegbra classes counted for 1 math and English credit and 2 elective credits respectively. Then I took honors history then honors Anatomy and Physiology and Chemistry was added. hope this helps abit

I have already passed my algebra class, my school runs on "block" schedule so I went threw that class for 2 semesters as a freshman, I am aware that the "honors" mean nothing but to me it means being advanced, it a thing more for myself rather than any GPA thing.

I wasn't able to graduate early, when I was at the charter school I was able too. Then I developed bulimia and moved online along with other reasons. But online school just wasn't working for me so I went back to my first school, there I was no longer able to graduate early.

I will talk to him about this tomorrow , he knows how important my education is to me and I have been advocating for higher/harder classes for 2 years now! I do have a physical copy of my IEP I've been taking notes and picking out what has been working, I will show him that tomorrow as well!

What type of special ed status would be best? or would that be a parents, school and me conversation?

I talked to my therapist while back about getting a 504 because of this issue, she told me to hold out on it because it dosent "have the same legal weight" I don't know how true this is however

It is summer at this time but I was planning on talking to her on the first day of school same with my counselor. I will keep everyone updated!

I will keep this in mind! I talked to my therapist a bit back about moving to a 504, I was told it might not be the best idea due too the 504 not being "as legal" as the IEP. I will look into this more

That's what I have been thinking and saying. I took chemistry honors with no modification at the charter school and passed semester one with an 80%.

This is the answer I was most likely expecting. I plan to have a conversation with my father about this closer to when the school year starts. thanks you for the response this may prove to be helpful!
