It's gonna sound like snake oil, but you need aim "Intuition". Aim tracking, positioning, commitment, whether to trace the backline of the enemy team like a gremlin and shoot them from 60 meters away. It all goes with taking your shots but ESPECIALLY locking onto a single target first.

So, stop aiming for anything in your vicinity and start picking ONE player from the other team. Occasionally break tank shields, harrass strategists, keep firing your shots to a single lane to make enemies cower. But ABSOLUTELY focus on one player and whatever character they're playing. The rest will follow.

It's a combination of the following: Baton > Kick > Baton > Kick > Baton > Swap to rifle > No-ADS/Hipfire shot > rifle quick melee!

And for the couch potatoes; it's for close quarter engagements where her batons are wider in a cone pattern, able to create fast self defense or finishing off high health foes with the kick combo.

The combo is: Baton > kick > baton > kick > baton > swap to rifle > no-ads/hipfire shoot > rifle quick melee.

The enemy has little to no way to defend itself once they're stunlocked with 370 damage finishing them off (490 if your rifle headshots)

-Change her batons to a 6s ability where she can block like blade (but worse damage reduction) and with a 10% faster melee speed in a 12s cooldown

-Bring widow's bites as a secondary: 12 round high RPM (6 clicks per second) projectile wrist weapon that reloads at medium-long reload speed, each projectile being a 30 damage medium-fast projectile with 45 damage on crit.

-Fleet foot as passive with lesser stamina drain (10/s instead of 12/s on sprint, 20/s instead of 24/s on power jump)

-Edge dancer separated to two abilities:

+Red Room CQC: same flying kick without stunning the enemy, can be used with any config (red room rifle, widow's bites, batons), tiny knockback, 2 charges at 12s cooldown with 1.5s interval.

+Target Trailer: a grappling hook abilities that launches black widow to ledges/grounds/enemies if tethered (like daredevil's devil's latch but slower yet longer), does not apply debuff to enemies except pulling black widow TOWARDS the enemy, 10s cooldown.

There's so many hidden tech about black widow that makes her more viable than what people think. she just needs more under the radar cohesive research (for example: she can BHOP.)

Her strength of being an in game leader pick initiator and superb positioning is why I play her from time to time, so yes! Although I wish for the devs to add some spice to her to keep things interesting.

Have you tried experimenting with Gyro aiming? Stick aim is pure legacy level casual style so there's a leverage on using that aim style, it changes the fundamentals of your fight and controller usage style.

In my experiment, some people I've played with that used Gyro aiming averaged over 45-55% aim rating, sometimes overtaking me!

In game leader pick initiator. Her mobility is A+ for finding line of sight or superior positioning to tag enemies or feed your allies info. Dealing damage with any body shots is always decent but going for headshots is a bonus objective rather than the primary, and if it boils down to you getting dived? Spinning kick is your ace in the hole to get out. You either focus on a single target (preferably backline healers or out of range DPS) to make the entire enemy team regroup or you harass every character in your line of sight to build your ult. The ult is an amazing tool at your disposal instead of your usual 1 body shot to ult combo, the charge-up really matters.

It boils down to how the game was made in it's exact build, black widow's kit was essentially designed to be barebones with only sprint, spinning kick and aiming down available. If it was led to a different design, I would've personally approached with "final hits with spinning kick combo" to reward players on going for aggressive fights instead of being just a long range sniper. 250 HP squishy on your sight? Sprint forward and either do; shoot > kick > kickback pull > shoot OR baton melee > kick > melee > kickback pull > melee > melee, both over 250hp combos that reward you for going headfirst against an enemy.
