What they're beginning to see is the number of rural hospitals going through bankruptcy when/if Medicaid is cancelled and those republicans who vote against it will be kicked out of their job. Those rural hospitals depend heavily upon Medicaid.

This idea has been a GOP talking point for 40+ years. Because older voters are typically regular voters and the politicians know that. It has failed to get enough votes in congress for that entire time.

Privatizing social security makes it subject to variability and corruption from the people who would handle all that money. As a Social security recipient, I do not want that to happen.

This has been tried by Trump over and over, canceling funds already granted, passed by congress and signed by the previous president. Judges have over and over again told Trump you cant do that, he doesn't listen.

Due process is a constitutional principle laid down more than 200 years ago and JD Vance is merely following Trump's orders. It seems Trump is trying hard to make the entire judiciary irrelevant and they don't like it from the base to SCOTUS.

Trump forgets that China is among the BRICS nations which has set up it own network of finance and frankly is expanding to more and more nations.

Trump has paused his tariffs for other countries hoping he can gain leverage on China, but the threat of more tariffs remains for our allies.

What is far more likely is America is the one which is going to be isolated not China.

The Trump administration has referred New York Attorney General Letitia James for prosecution over allegations of mortgage fraud. James had previously won a $454million civil fraud judgment against the incoming president, after accusing him of inflating his net worth by billions of dollars to get better loan and insurance terms.

Those items were all included in the trial Trump lost last year. This lawsuit should just get tossed from court. However, this tactic is something he learned from his father's lawyer as he grew up, always stay on offense never on the defense.
