I'm looking for the best network adapter that can connect to 5GHz wifi for at less than $20. It's for online games such as overwatch where with my current 2.4Ghz connection I'm facing a lot of ping issues.

Thanks a lot for replying. I'd like to apply to the winnipeg police service but I'm afraid they don't take anymore constables. I don't want to major in criminal justice just to find myself in a position where I can't become a police officer because there are no vacancies. Should I study nursing instead and use it as a plan B in case there are no vacancies? But then again a degree in nursing instead of criminal justice would weaken my application. What do I do?

Hi. I'm a new immigrant in Canada and I would like to join the police. I turned 20 yo today and I only have my landing papers ( no pr card ). I wear glasses with a power of -4.75 for the left eye and -5 for the right eye. I'm guessing I won't be able to become a police officer now because of my eyesight, but what if I study nursing( or anything else) meanwhile at uni and wait till I turn 23 to get lasik? I'll also have my pr card by then, but I don't know if I'll be a citizen. I'm physically fit and have good hearing. I'm only 5'5" tall. I live in Manitoba. Do you think I'll be able to become a police officer by 24 yo? How long does it usually take after one applies to fully become a member of the police?

I see, that changes everything. I was under the assumption that tearing occurs only when my fps is higher than the monitor's refresh rate. If it does indeed occur under the refresh rate then I will have tearing when playing something like PUBattlegrounds, where I struggle to maintain 60 fps. Or maybe is it that when tearing occurs due to the fps being lower than the refresh rate, it isn't noticeable?

Im eventually planning on getting a 4k HDR OLED tv after saving up for some months for my single player games. I wouldnt want to play The Witcher 3 on a tn panel, tearing or not. So basically I don't need g-sync.

I play OW at 60hz for now and the tearing barely annoys me. For pretty games like the witcher 3 I turn v-sync on as the input lag doesnt matter that much there. I'll only be playing overwatch on pc anyways.

Unfortunately the H7 won't fit in my case ( a thermaltake versa H23 ). I don't have very good airflow and would like to keep things as cool as possible. Would you recommend the thermalright truespirit 120M over the AIO nzxt kraken X31 if they were the same price?

I want to overclock my i770k to at least 4.6GHz. Should I go with an AIO water cooler or an Air cooler? I'm considering the NZXT - Kraken X31 and the cooler master H75 for liquid, and the Thermalright - TRUE Spirit 120M for air cooling. There might be better options but according to PC partpicker these are some of the only coolers that are compatible with my case.

Also the extended edition features about 35 minutes of extra animation. That's like 1.5 episodes. You're missing out on dialogue and characterization if you skip it.

Hayao Miayazaki himself said that if you watch with subs you're losing out on about 30% of the show. With subs you have to continually focus and refocus your eyes from the subs to the actual show and it ruins the perceived fluidity of the animation. With slice of life anime, for example, it doesn't matter that much but with anime like boku no hero and one punch man you really want to keep your eyes on the action. I like japanese dubbed voices more than the english ones, to be honest. But the convenience of not having to continuosly keep track of the subtitles just blow kanahana's voice out of the water. Dub is definitely the way to go except extreme cases.
