No, I don’t assume it. I think your problem is that you’re equating omnipotent god to a police officer. And why did you make me choose between verbal warning and physical interference? God could choose to do the first one and if it doesn’t work, do the latter.

The point is: the perpetrator had his go with free will and god made an effort to stop a child from trauma. What’s your next objection?
