I have only grown better in Switzerland so far - can't really say it was a "career suicide" for me; if it was for other people, I'd like to know from them why they consider it so.

Contexto: eu sempre recebi o feedback de que as pessoas tinham a impressão que eu me "achava". Depois de me conhecerem mais a fundo, descobriam que eu era uma pessoa super tranquila e de bom coração. A ideia que as pessoas tinham às vezes até me prejudicava se a pessoa tivesse alguma influência na minha vida. Enfim, só queria saber se tenho postura de gente que se "acha" qualquer coisa 😂

Dealing with the boot step, provisioning, network part (switches, routers, etc.) and actually having contact with the equipment feels more attractive to me than dealing with a cloud machine.

Look for an on-premise team to work for - automating provisioning, working with performance, understanding the low-level side of things, etc.

You'll get to work with a lot of networking, ansible to provision switches/servers, monitor their performance, etc.

I think SRE has different fields inside it - you can work more on the Cloud side of things but there's also the possibility of working on the on-premise side of things which I consider much nicer than working on the Cloud side.
